Stainless Steel (Columbus XCR) Road/Gravel Frame Building Course

After 11 years and more and more than 400 completed frames in our frame building course, I am really happy to announce our new course in building your own stainless steel road or gravel frame.  Your stainless frame will be built within the framework of the Fillet Brazed frame building course, however for your frame we will mostly be using Columbus XCR stainless steel tubing.   Your frame will be brazed with Silver, which is required for stainless steel.   Once you get the hang of it, brazing with silver is easier than brass.   It is also easier to file and sand, which sets you up to perhaps actually achieve the frame you’ve been dreaming of building yourself.   The course takes 5 days like most of our courses, costs 2250 Euro, and the material cost is around 1500 Euro.
