This dream bike (frame) was built earlier this year in our Fillet Brazed Frame Building Course. Turned out so nice!!! Perhaps even more interesting, the bike was financed by a bike leasing partner called Jobrad (only available in Germany).
This course built Disc Racer came with a complete price tag of 9500 Euro. That includes the course fees, material cost, powder coat and paint, all the components, and an extra fee we charge to build the complete bike. While 9500 Euro is a price many of us probably can’t afford, here is what it costs with jobrad…. only 167 Euro per month! At the end of the 3 year leasing contract if you want to keep the bike you still need to pay 2.666,40 Euro, but because of the tax advantages and cooperation with your employer, you actually saved around 3000 Euro compared to if you had just paid everything with cash. So the 9500 Euro bike you never thought you could afford, suddenly looks quite a bit more affordable, don’t you think?
This bike was built up with a Campagnolo Srl Super Record EPS groupset, beautiful and lightweight Schmolke Carbon SL45 road disc wheelset with hubs from DTSwiss, and a headset from Chris King Precision Components. The orange Geiles Teil stem and Starkes Stuck seat post from tune should arrive later in the year to complete the build.
