Fillet. Brazed. Frames.
New 2-Day Course: Build Your Frame in a Weekend!
You’ve always wanted to build your own frame, but you just don’t have the vacation time for it? Well, maybe we have the perfect solution for you! Our 2-Day Frame Building Course takes place on the weekend – so you can build your own bike without taking a single day off work.
Normally, our frame-building course runs for five days, but for the first time, we are offering a compact 2-day version.
In this course, you can only build the frame you see in the pictures. Thanks to 3D-printed lugs, the frame-building process is significantly simplified, drastically reducing build time.
The frame geometry can be adjusted to your preferences, meaning you will build a fully custom frame. However, due to time constraints, a bike fitting session on the first day of the course is not possible. If you’d still like a professional fitting, you can book one with us in advance for an additional fee.
Since the focus is on frame building, there won’t be time to properly sand and finish the joints. You’ll need to complete this at home – or we can do it for you at an extra cost.
The course costs €2,500, which includes all materials and a single-color powder coat – just like you see in the pictures.
Important: The price includes only the frame. The components shown in the pictures are not included.
Note: The frame shown is not the exact model you will build in the course, but it is very similar. Photos of the actual bike will follow in the coming weeks.
It could be yours.
This is what you get.
1. Time and Place
The Weekend Frame Building Course lasts just 2 days. The course takes place in our workshop in Potsdam-Babelsberg (only 30 minutes from Berlin via the S-Bahn). You can reserve your date below. There are a maximum of 3 students.
2. Possible Bikes
In the 2-Day Weekend Frame Building Course, you will build a road bike frame like the one pictured. This course focuses on a specific frame design, and while the geometry is adjustable to suit your preferences, the frame style is limited to the one pictured here.
3. Difficulty
While a fillet brazed frame is typically more challenging to build, we use custom 3D printed lugs to optimize the process. These lugs simplify the build, making it possible to complete the frame in just two days. This approach allows us to streamline the construction without compromising on quality.
4. What you do
Everything. Some frame building courses concentrate more on the theory. In some courses tubes are already cut before you get there. In my opinion cutting and brazing is the bread and butter of frame building. In my courses, under my direction, you will build the frame completely by yourself.
5. What I do
I have all the tools you’ll need to build your frame, plus thousands of hours of experience building pretty much every kind of bike you can think of. Working together, you can build your own frame that you will go home happy with.
6. Extras
Material costs are included in the 2500 Euro course price, along with a single color powder coat for your frame. However, the cost covers only the frame itself and does not include any bike parts shown in the pictures here of the complete bike, which serves only as a reference.
Happy Faces. Beautiful Bikes.

“Thanks for the awesome week! The frame building course was awesome, I can’t think of a better way to spend my vacation. The ‘work’ was really fun and I learned a ton. I’m really happy with how the frame turned out, and super proud that I actually built it myself. The geometry fits me perfectly and rides even better than I could have imagined!”

“Thanks again for the awesome week! The course was really fun and I am really proud of the frame I built. I think you are a great teacher. Always patient, you explained everything really well, and the ‘work’ of building the frame was never really like ‘work’ and I had a great time! :-)”

“Sorry for bothering you with pictures from my bike. I tested it today for the first time and it was fantastic. I usually do not tend to be super-enthusiastic and there were of course some minor issues (like getting the position of the saddle right etc) but this was by far the most convincing test-ride ever. Super stable, yet agile, very direct. I loved every second with it.”
