21. November 2025BESPOKED 2025 – Dresden
Last weekend we were at BESPOKED, Europe’s largest handmade bike show — and it was fantastic!
Tons of people, great atmosphere, and so many inspiring bikes and builders all in one place.
We brought four bikes to the show this year, and three of them were built right here in our frame building course. Seeing them on display among so many other beautiful bikes made us incredibly proud.
Rangi’s Cargo Bike – Trees Everywhere
The first bike was Rangi’s cargo bike — a truly special version of our “standard” cargo design, packed with beautiful details. Rangi added lots of trees to his frame — a little forest on two wheels!
If you’ve ever built with us, you know we have a soft spot for that brass tree logo. And yes, it’s possible to braze a brass tree directly onto your frame if you like.
Christoph’s Longtail Cargo
The second bike was a longtail, built by Christoph over two weeks in the course.
He sent me a photo of a similar bike he’d seen online and asked, “Could we build something like this?”
It looked cool and doable, so we went for it — and it turned out great.
The timing couldn’t have been better, either: we finished it about a month before BESPOKED, just in time for a quick test ride before the show.
Hans-Martin’s XCR Gravel Bike
The third bike was something truly special — a stainless steel Columbus XCR gravel frame built by Hans-Martin in our course.
At the end of his week here, the plan was for Hans-Martin to finish sanding the joints at home, then bring the frame back so we could complete the build together. But sadly, Hans-Martin passed away before that could happen — leaving behind his wife and two children.
We decided to finish the bike anyway, using the components we had already set aside.
It felt right to have his frame there, displayed proudly right next to the entrance at BESPOKED 2025.
We’re sure Hans-Martin would have been proud to see it there, too.
The Big Forest Frameworks Show Bike
The fourth bike was one that Konrad and I built together — a project that started about two years ago.
I still remember our first day working on it; when two people are building side by side, things move fast and the workshop feels alive.
Like many projects around here, it sat unfinished for a while as other priorities took over. But this year, we were determined to finally get it done for BESPOKED.
And we made it!
The bike looked stunning — and if you noticed the details: yes, the custom mast topper, logo, and tree on the head tube are plated in pure gold.
We had a great time at BESPOKED this year — talking with so many passionate builders and riders, showing what’s possible in our courses, and reconnecting with the handmade bike community.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, said hi, and shared their stories. We’re already looking forward to BESPOKED 2026. See you there!
