RAINPROOF ESSENTIALS CASE – Everything in my Cycling Jersey?
27. November 2024Check out this awesome steel all-road bike built by Falca in our fillet brazed frame building course! Falca attended our Ladies Week event last year and had a fantastic time building her frame with Annette from Fahrstil, the cycling magazine you actually want to read. Annette even wrote an article about her experience in the course here in Potsdam!
We were thrilled to capture some pictures of Falca’s bike while the paint was still fresh. The paint turned out beautifully, combining a single-color powder coat with wet paint on top—truly the best of both worlds. While it’s hard to see in the pictures, there’s a touch of glitter in the clear coat that makes the bike sparkle.
This frame is full of nice details! Did you notice the bridge between the seat stays? Super creative and it pairs perfectly with the elegant bends in the stays. And how about the frame number ‘Allride’ and the striking tree on the seat tube? I originally designed larger trees for the head tube, but they look great here, too. Our head tube badge made by Geoff Moorhouse looks good up front.
Another absolute highlight is the stem. Crafted by our head course instructor Konrad, it’s made of steel and designed for fully integrated cable routing. It may be the only steel stem of its kind! I’m truly impressed with Konrad’s artistry in both conception and execution. The stem is also compatible with the ENVE top cap for IS52 headsets.
Ready to roll with the Campagnolo Ekar groupset and Campa Shamal carbon wheelset, this bike is a creation that Falca can be proud of. Congratulations, Falca!
