Finally Coming Together: My Custom XCR Build

🛠️ This is a frame we started more than a year ago – and it’s finally coming together.

My own dream bike. Made from Columbus XCR stainless steel.
It features an integrated seat post (ISP) – our first one in XCR.
Fat up front (42 mm downtube), skinny in the back (12 mm seat stays).
T47 bottom bracket keeps the brake line hidden inside.
UDH dropouts – ready for whatever the future brings.

I usually prefer a horizontal top tube.
But @konrad_lenz suggested more slope – to give it a bit more of a racier look.
What do you think? Classic or sloping?

And the best part might still be coming:
We’re working on a stainless steel mast topper,
and hopefully a matching stem as well. 🧑‍🏭
