I built this frame and fork about 6 or 7 years ago and brought it to the former Berlin Bike Show. Back then, it had a clear powder coating on it. It looked good, but I always wanted to paint it properly, and finally, that has happened. Well, actually, the paint job was finished 2 years ago, but now it is finally assembled. I did the painting myself, which unfortunately doesn’t happen often, as this final step from the bare frame to the finished frame set is actually a lot of fun for me.

The painting was of course somewhat elaborate. Masking the tubes so that I could paint the lugs with a brush in different colors takes time. The stencil for the logo on the down tube is also not that easy, and the last step – lining around the lugs with a paint pen – was not my first time, but still exciting, as I wanted to avoid making mistakes. But I think it turned out well! What do you think?
